Strawberries: It is probably the most popular ‘natural sweet’, because strawberries can be combined with so much and add a delicious flavour to everything. We are also lucky to have the IQF system to freeze the fruit within the first 24 hours of picking it, so we can enjoy this fruit all year round. Best of all, it will retain all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals, and without having to add preservatives or colourings. It’s wonderful!

Strawberries are mainly made up of water, which makes them very low in calories (e.g. 100 g of strawberries contain about 35 Kcal). Its nutrients include vitamin C, which strengthens the body’s defences, and vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant. They are also rich in potassium and fibre that regulates intestinal transit.

Mango: Mango is another fruit that you will find in our Caribbean Kiss that gives it a very special touch. As well as flavour, mango is also an incredible fruit. As well as all its many properties, mango helps prevent diseases, helps us to look after our eyes thanks to its vitamin A content, provides many benefits to our skin and helps improve our memory, etc. Eating this fruit every day is a great idea!

Melon: It is well known that one of the characteristics of melon is its high water content, which keeps us hydrated throughout the day. That’s why our Caribbean Kiss Smoothie is perfect for this time of the year.

How do I make it?

You simply need to buy your bag with the Caribbean Kiss ingredients. The bag is perfectly sealed so that the product is preserved at its very best. The fruit pieces are pre-selected, washed and prepared in the right amounts so that, when you finish making it, it will have our smoothie’s characteristic taste.

Add the bag of fruit to your blender and mix with 250 ml of water, or apple juice. If you want to make it with juice, we think that apple juice is best as it is neutral without changing the smoothie’s characteristic flavour too much.

Imagine combining fruits, vegetables, nuts and all the properties of tea. In this post we would like to tell you about this original idea that you might like to give a go when making your smoothies, also known as smooteas. 😉

At LifeSmoothies we always recommend making smoothies by adding our frozen fruit sachet to the blender together with 250 ml of water or apple juice. Apple juice is perfect to give you that neutral touch and to enjoy all the flavour that our fruits have to offer.

But apart from apple juice, other options that can also be great for the smoothie of your choice are other types of fruit juices, coconut water, vegetable drinks or, as we will talk about, tea. Remember that you can add more or less to play with the texture. This way, you can make it thicker or thinner and add the toppings you want without them sinking.

What teas can you try in your smoothies?

There are teas with very distinctive flavours that you may like more or less. We recommend starting with teas with mild flavours or even fruit flavours, regardless of their properties.

A good choice is white tea, also known as beauty tea, as it has a mild, sweet and floral taste. Its colour is also pale and velvety, and it has become very popular among tea lovers. It is made in a way so that it is minimally processed, so we can enjoy all its benefits whilst also tasting delicious. It is also the variety of tea with the highest antioxidant content, so it’s all good for you!
